The alleys in Ampenan Old Town function as both circulation routes and social spaces, shaped by residents' daily practices. However, research on kampung urban alleys remains largely descriptive and lacks a practical framework for systematically analyzing how space is produced. This study applies Henri Lefebvre’s theory of spatial production through a mapping approach centered on the core of place, within the context of organizational gangs. The method mapped activity nodes, time rhythms, conflicts between circulation and social interaction, and patterns of spatial negotiation in the alleys of RT 3, Dende Seleh Neighborhood, Ampenan Old Town. Results reveal two types of micro-social space production: first, a communal-temporal social space in Alleys 1, 3, 4, and 5 that operates according to afternoon-to-evening rhythms and is reinforced by collective momentum; second, a domestic social space—an extension of home in Alley 2—that is rooted in kinship ties and serves as an extension of the household.
